Beyond 2015

The Philippine Social Enterprise Network was heavily involved in Beyond 2015 as the national lead agency for the Philippines. PhilSEN’s Gomer Padong also served in the Beyond 2015 Executive Committee from 2014-2016. Beyond 2015 is a global civil society campaign, pushing for a strong and legitimate successor framework to the Millennium Development Goals. The campaign, created in 2010, is built on a diverse, global base. It ranges from small community based organisations to international NGOs, academics and trade unions. A founding principle of the campaign is that it is a partnership between civil society organisations from the ‘North’ and the ‘South’ – bringing together groups from developing, emerging and developed economies. Read more about the history of Beyond 2015. Beyond 2015 brings together more than 1,500 Civil Society Organisations from 139 countries all over the world. Of these, 56% are Southern CSOs and 44% are Northern CSOs - in 41 countries in Africa, 29 countries in Asia and the Pacific, 35 countries in Europe, 2 countries in North America and 26 countries in Latin America.

Asia-Pacific Regional CSO Engagement Mechanism (APRCEM)

APRCEM is a civil society platform aimed to enable stronger cross constituency coordination and ensure that voices of all sub-regions of Asia Pacific are heard in intergovernmental processes in regional and global level. The platform is initiated, owned and driven by the CSOs, and seeks to engage with UN agencies and Member States on the Post-2015 as well as other development related issues/processes. As an open, inclusive, and flexible mechanism, RCEM is designed to reach the broadest number of CSOs in the region, harness the voice of grassroots and peoples’ movements to advance development justice that address the inequalities of wealth, power, resources between countries, between rich and poor and between men and women. PhilSEN is focal point for the constituency on Social and Community Businesses of the APRCEM.

The Global Social Economy Forum is a global social and solidarity economy (SSE) network that aims to serve as a hub for sharing visions and experiences through cross-border collaboration and cooperation based on multilateral (public-private-community) partnerships for an inclusive, equitable and human centered world for all of us.

Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA)

The Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA) is a learning and action network set up by social enterprises and social enterprise resource institutions to catalyze knowledge creation, capacity development and movement-building for social entrepreneurship in the Asian region. PhilSEN is an institutional founding member and has a board seat in ISEA.

Together 2030

The Philippine Social Enterprise Network is one of the founding organizations of Together 2030. Together 2030 is a civil society initiative that promotes national implementation and track progress of 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We aim to generate knowledge and project voices from different civil society and stakeholders around the world on the challenges and opportunities for the 2030 Agenda. We bring together actors to discuss the way to formulate and implement roadmaps at national level and hold governments to account at all levels.
